es posible mpeg-2 en Imovie?

Debo corregir lo anterior. Parece ser que iMovie guarda los archivos importados en formato MPEG2 pero comprimidos en .mov. Es sólo al exportar o compartir la película que se convierte a .H264. La aclaración me la han hecho en los foros técnicos de Apple. Literalmente:

The clips are still stored in the original MPEG-2 encoding, just packaged different, in a Quicktime .mov wrapper. But when you add the clips from the event to a project, and want to share or export the project, you cannot do ths as an MPEG-2 clip. At that point, it gets converted to another format, like H.264.
