tarjeta gráfica de PC en Mac

Hola. Ví que se hacen adaptaciones de tarjetas como la FX5200 de 128MB o la FX6200 de 256Mb para Macs G4 y G5. Si no me equivoco, a lo que le hacen a la tarjeta lo llaman "flashearla". Alguien sabe si esto funciona bien reamente? si no daña el equipo... Alguien lo ha hecho?
